James Hugh Clarke
31 Tievecrom Road, Forkhill, Co. Armagh / Co. Louth
James Hugh Clarke, of 31 Tievecrom Road, Forkhill, Co. Armagh, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his father Jim, James was the dearly beloved husband of Elish and the devoted father of Tara. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken wife and daughter.
He is also deeply mourned by his mother Bernie; his sisters Jacqueline and Louise; his sister-in-law Fiona; his brothers-in-law Peter, Colm, and Gerard; his nephews and nieces Abigail, Peter, Jason, James, and Sinead; as well as his grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family circle, neighbours, and many dear friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at his home, with visitors welcome on Thursday and Friday, June 11th and 12th, between the hours of 12 noon and 8:00pm.
Removal will take place on Saturday morning, June 13th, at 11:15am, proceeding to St. Patrick’s Church, Dromintee, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterward in the adjoining cemetery.

Barry Grimes, of Clarke Road, Cork Road, Waterford and formerly of Muirhevnamor, Dundalk, Co. Louth, passed away on June 9th, 2026. Barry was a late employee of SuperValu, Kilbarry, Waterford.
Predeceased by his father John and his baby son Michael, Barry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his partner Deby, his daughters Faye and Alanna, his son Danny, and his mother Mary.
He is also deeply mourned by his brothers Anthony, David, and Jimmy; his sisters Sharon and Karen; Deby’s parents Rhoda and Aileen (Sheridan); his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.
Funeral Details:
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Sunday, June 14th, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, with vigil prayers and Rosary at 2:00pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated upon arrival in St. John’s Church, Parnell Street, Waterford on Monday, June 15th, at 1:00pm, followed by burial afterward in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner, Waterford.
The family residence remains strictly private at all times, please. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, if desired, to Pieta House.
