Mary McArdle (née Keaskin)

Courtbane, Hackballscross, Dundalk / Formerly Annagassan, Co. Louth
Mary McArdle (née Keaskin), of Courtbane, Hackballscross, Dundalk and formerly of Annagassan, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully in her 87th year, in the wonderful care of the staff in the Lilac Ward at Silverstream Care Home, Dundalk.

The beloved wife of the late Harry and loving mother of Caroline and Bernadette, Mary was predeceased by her parents Terence and Bridget Keaskin, her brothers Ned, Patrick, and Johnny, and her sisters Eileen and Peggy. She will be sadly missed, fondly remembered, and deeply mourned by her daughters, her cherished grandson Oisín, her brother Leo, and her sisters Cepta Flynn and Rosaleen Fox.

She is also deeply regretted by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, the extended Keaskin and McArdle family circles, neighbours, dedicated friends, and former colleagues.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer, on Sunday, May 31st, from 4:30pm until 8:00pm, and continuing at her residence in Courtbane, Hackballscross, on Monday, June 1st, from 3:00pm until 9:00pm.

Removal will take place on Tuesday morning, June 2nd, to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Sheelagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House strictly private on Tuesday morning, please.

Camlough, Co. Armagh / Newry, Co. Armagh / Omeath, Co. Louth
Bernadette (Bernie) Doyle (née Grant), of 3A Chapel Road, Camlough, Armagh, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the tender care of the staff at Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry.

Predeceased by her parents Nancy and Daniel Grant, her infant brother Donal, brother-in-law Phelim, and niece Lara, Bernie will be very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her beloved husband Louis, her daughter Síofra, her son Louis Óg and his partner Claire, and her cherished granddaughter Éabha.

She is also fondly remembered and deeply mourned by her sisters Majella and Catrina; sisters-in-law Marguerite and Anne-Marie; brothers-in-law Seamus and Gerry; her nieces Danielle, Feithlinn, Vourneen, Fionnuala, Leah, and Isabelle; her nephew Conor; extended relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at her residence (3A Chapel Road, Camlough) on Sunday and Monday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm for neighbours and friends to call.

Removal will take place on Tuesday afternoon, June 2nd, proceeding to St. Laurence’s Church, Omeath, arriving for Requiem Mass at 2:30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The Mass can be viewed live via the parish online streaming link.

Family flowers only, please. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Southern Area Hospice Care (Evora Hospice Care, Newry) via their online portal, or through the donation boxes available at the house and church.

John Bradshaw, of Ravensdale, Dundalk, Co. Louth and formerly of Raheny, Dublin, passed away peacefully at the Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin on Thursday, May 28th, 2026.

The beloved husband of Aine and loving father of Ciara and Eoin, John will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife, daughter, and son.

He is also deeply mourned by his cherished grandchildren Oscar, James, Catherine, and Lawrence; son-in-law Eoghan; daughter-in-law Jan; his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours, and his many close friends.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Dundalk, on Monday, June 1st, from 2pm until 4pm.

Removal will take place on Tuesday morning, June 2nd, proceeding to Glasnevin Crematorium, Dublin, arriving for a Cremation Service at 12 noon.

No flowers please, and the house is strictly private.

Michael J. Byrne, of The Cairns, Beaubec, Dublin Road, Drogheda and formerly of Seapoint, Termonfeckin, Co. Louth, passed away peacefully on May 30th, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret, Michael will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his daughters Ann, Jean, Susan, and Helan, and his sons-in-law Don, Denis, Martin, and Martin.

He is also deeply mourned by his grandchildren Sarah, Alan, Steven, Michael, David, Ryan, Cathy, Kelly, and Jenny; his great-grandchildren Paige, Bobby, Oscar, Cillian, Marvin, and Rory; his sister Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, a wide circle of friends, and his faithful best friend, Bobby the dog.

Funeral Details:
Reposing at his home on Monday, June 1st, from 3pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, June 2nd, at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Drogheda, which can be viewed live online via the St. Mary’s parish website. Burial will take place afterward in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, can be made to the RNLI Clogherhead. House private on Tuesday morning, please.

Stephen Carroll, of Janemount Park, Corbally, Limerick and formerly of McDermott’s Terrace, Dundalk (late of P.J. Carroll & Co.), passed away peacefully at his home on May 29th, 2026.

The beloved husband of the late Breda and loving father of Peter, Stephen, Anthony, and the late Thomas, Stephen was also predeceased by his siblings Bridget, Paddy, Catherine, Mary, and Francis. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sons, daughter-in-law Karla, his cherished grandchildren Lulu and Bonnie, his brothers Joe and Peter, his sister Ann, nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

Reposing at his home on Monday evening, June 1st, from 4pm until 7pm.

Funeral will arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street, Limerick, on Tuesday, June 2nd, for Requiem Mass at 12pm, followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, can be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
